【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthepre-layoutdelaycalculationmethodforCMOS1ASICLibrarieswhichcontainscellbasedprimitivesandmemoriestobeusedduringthepre-layoutdesignphaseofLogicsimulation,Timingverfication,andLogicsynthesis.Thedelaycalculationmethodaddressedinthisstandardconsistsof1)Estimationofwirecapacitanceand2)Delaycalculationmethodbasedontablelook-up.WithuseofDCLandSDF,thisdelaycalculationmethodhelpstheuserhaveaunifiedtimingmodelforvariousEDAtoolsinthepre-layoutdesignphase.Thisstandardisconsistentwithexistingstandardsandacceptsexistingstandardformats,likeSPEF,DCL,andSDF.ScopeofthisstandardcoverstheCMOSASICfrontendtimingdesignforusinglogicsynthesizer,simulators,timingverifiers.Thedelaycalculationmethodspecifiedisbasedontheinputslewratecalculationstepandtheporttoportcalculationstep.Duringthesecalculationsteps,thetablelookupmethodisused.Thetablemethodofthisstandardspecifiestwointerpolationmethodsfordelaycalculation.Oneisbi-linearinterpolationwhichiswidelyusedthroughtheindustry.Anotherisalinearinterpolationusingneighboring3points.Thenatureofthedelayvaluehasmonotonouslyincreasingfunctionofconvexsurface.ThislinearinterpolationhasafewpercentofdifferencesbetweenlinearinterpolationandSPICEresult.
