【摘要】:Thepresenceofwater-solubleextractablesinmembranefilterscancreateerrorsintestproceduresemployingmembranefilters.However,theseerrorscanbeeliminatedorsignificantlyreducedifthequantityofwater-solubleextractablesofthespecificmembraneispreviouslydetermined.Certainmembranefilterusesrequirespecificationsofmaximumwater-solubleextractablelevels.Thistestmethodisintendedtobearapidtesttodeterminethelossofwater-solublecompoundssuchasplasticizersorwettingagentsfromfiltrationmembranes.Thistestmethodisnotdesignedtopredeterminetheperformanceofafilter,butissignificantindeterminingthepercentextractablesofmembranesfromdifferentsourcesandlotvariationsfromasinglesource.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthegravimetricdeterminationofthewater-extractablematerialpresentinmembranefiltersandisapplicableoverthecompleteconcentrationrangeofextractables.1.2TheanalystshouldbeawarethatadequatecollaborativedataforprecisionandbiasstatementsasrequiredbyPracticeD2777isnotprovided.SeeSection11fordetails.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
