【摘要】:Intheprimarymetallurgicalprocessesusedbythemineralprocessingindustryforgoldbearingores,goldisextractedwithalkalinecyanidesolutionsandadsorbedontoactivatedcarbonforrecoveryofthemetal.Metallurgicalaccounting,processcontrol,andoreevaluationproceduresforthistypeofmineralprocessingplantdependonaccurate,precise,andpromptmeasurementsofgoldconcentrationsintheactivatedcarbon.Thistestmethodforgoldinactivatedcarbonisintendedprimarilyasarefereemethodtotestsuchmaterialsformetalcontent.Itisassumedthatthosewhousetheseprocedureswillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.Appropriatequalitycontrolpracticesmustbefollowed,suchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofgoldinactivatedcarbonbyfireassaycollectionandgravimetricmeasurement.Itcoverstherangeof15x03BC;gto5000x03BC;g/ggold.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundvaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardsstatements,seeSection9and11.2.3-11.2.5,11.3.4,and11.3.4.
