【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60695specifiesthedetailsoftheglow-wiretesttobeappliedtotestspecimensofsolidelectricalinsulatingmaterialsorothersolidmaterialsforflammabilitytestingtodeterminetheglow-wireflammabilityindex(GWFI).GWFIisthehighesttemperature,determinedduringthisstandardizedprocedure,atwhichthetestedmateriala)doesnotigniteor,ifitdoes,extinguisheswithin30safterremovaloftheglow-wireandisnottotallyconsumed,andb)moltendrips,iftheyoccur,donotignitethewrappingtissue.Thistestmethodisamaterialstestcarriedoutonaseriesofstandardtestspecimens.Thedataobtained,alongwithdatafromtheglow-wireignitiontemperature(GWIT)testmethodformaterials,IEC60695-2-13,canthenbeusedinapreselectionprocessinaccordancewithIEC60695-1-30tojudgetheabilityofmaterialstomeettherequirementsofIEC60695-2-11.NOTEAsanoutcomeofconductingafirehazardassessment,anappropriateseriesofpreselectionflammabilityandignitiontestsmayallowareductionofendproducttesting.ThisbasicsafetypublicationisintendedforusebytechnicalcommitteesinthepreparationofstandardsinaccordancewiththeprincipleslaiddowninIECGuide104andISO/IECGuide51.Oneoftheresponsibilitiesofatechnicalcommitteeis,whereverapplicable,tomakeuseofbasicsafetypublicationsinthepreparationofitspublications.Therequirements,testmethodsortestconditionsofthisbasicsafetypublicationwillnotapplyunlessspecificallyreferredtoorincludedintherelevantpublications.
